The Department of Higher Education & Languages,
Government of Punjab is going to fill 1,158 huge vacancies of Assistant Professor post and Librarian post in government colleges. Recruitment would be done by Punjabi University, Patiala within 45 days. The main aim of recruitment is to fulfill the long-standing demand of staff in Government Colleges of the State. Candidates who are willing to grab this golden  opportunity shall apply online from 25th October, 2021. Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as one of the compulsory Subject or have good academic record with at least 55% marks at Master's degree level in the relevant subject. kindly read the official notification for more relevant information.


Age Limit : The Candidates must lie between the age group of 18 years to 37 years as on  01.01.2022


Application Fee : 

1. For SC/ST of all States and BC of Punjab State Only : Rs. 750/-.

2. For Ex. Serviceman of Punjab State Only : Rs. 500/-.

3. For EWS, PWD & LDESM Punjab : Rs. 500/-.

4. For All Others : Rs. 1500/-.


Mode of Selection : The Candidates will be selected only on the basis of marks scored in Written Examination. Recruitment is solely depend on written examination, No Interview will be taken.  Successful Candidates in order of merit will be called for Counselling and after verifying the documents, the department will issue them appointment letters.


Pay Scale for Assistant Professor : Rs. 56,100 per month for 3 years of Probation period.

Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 42 years as on 01.07.2021. No person shall be eligible if less than 18 year and is more than 42 years.


Selection Process : The Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination in computer based recruitment test mode conducted by Commission. The Dates of written Examination will be announced separately.


Application Fee : Candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/-.

Examination Fee : Candidates need to pay Rs. 80 as examination fee.

SC/ST/BC/PH & Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of any fee.

Examination Fee : Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100 through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card on or before the last date of submission of online application.


Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in Written Examination. Tentative list of Eligible candidates will be announced in the Commission's website for certificate verification. After Verification of the original Certificates, Candidates will be summoned for final selection through counselling method.

Kerala State Eligibility Test January 2022 Notification is OUT !! 

LBS Centre for Science & Technology has uploaded a notification of KSET -January 2022. Every Year Government conducted State Eligibility Test to Select the candidates as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE. Candidates intending to appear in Kerala SET Exam 2022 can fill Online Application form from 20th October, 2021. More details like Kerala SET Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates and how to apply for KSET are mentioned below.

Name of the Examination : Kerala State Eligibility Test - January 2022


KSET Eligibility Conditions : 

Educational Qualifications : Candidates Should have completed Master’s Degree in the subjects concerned with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and must have B.Ed. degree in any discipline from any one of the universities in Kerala .

NOTE : Aspirants who have completed D.L.Ed or LTTC in Arabic, Urdu and Hindi but don't have B.Ed Degree can also Apply for Kerala SET Exam 2022. Candidates studying in 1st year of any PG course and B.Ed Course are not eligible to apply .


Age Limit : There is no age limit is prescribed for candidates appearing for the SET.


KSET Application Fee : 

1. General and OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/-.

2. SC/ST & Differently Abled Candidates need to pay Rs. 500/-.

The mode of payment shall be only be paid through online mode. Cash/Money Order/   Cheque  will not be accepted.


KSET 2022 Exam pattern : Government will conduct 2 Papers for SET-January 2022.

1. Paper I : It consists of 2 parts , General Knowledge and Aptitude in Teaching.

2. Paper II : Paper II shall be a test based on the subject of specialisation of the candidate at the Post Graduate (PG) Level. There shall be 31 subjects for Paper II.



How to Fill Online Registration Form : Candidates are required to fill the application in Online mode only.

2. In the Online Services Select SET and Other Exams. Select SET-JANUARY 2022

3. Candidates need to register their mobile number first, a valid OTP will be set to the  submitted mobile number for Confirmation.

4. Fill online application form with all the required details and click on Submit button. A Registration ID will be displayed.  Candidates need to keep this ID for future use.

5. Upload your Scanned photograph and make the payment of online application fee.

6. After Payment, Candidates can take the printout of the application form and keep it safe.
