Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has invited Online Applications from  eligible, young and dynamic candidates for the appointment of Clerks post. PSSSB is going to fill up the 2789 vacancies of Clerk, IT Clerk and Accounts Clerk Posts. Interested candidates can apply Online from 23rd October, 2021. Number of Vacancies : 2789

Post wise Vacancy break-up : 

1. Clerk : 2374 posts

2. IT Clerk : 212 posts

3. Account Clerk : 203 posts


Eligibility Conditions : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have obtained Graduation Degree from any recognized University. Other Required qualifications are mentioned below :

1. Law Graduate from a recognized university or institution;

2. Qualified in competitive test to be held by the recruiting authority; and Qualified a test in Punjabi and English typing to be held by the recruiting authority at the speed of thirty words per minute or at such speed as maybe 4 specified by the Punjab Government from time to time and other conditions apply as per the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994, as amended from time to time.

3. Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001, certified OR Possess a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India.


Age Limit : Aspirants age must lie between the age group of 18 years to 37 years .


Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks scored in written test and Interview.

Pay Scale : Rs. 19000 /-. (Level 2)


PSSSB Clerk Application Fee : Candidates need to pay Fee according to their Category.

1. For General Candidates : Rs.1000/-.

2. For SC/BC/EWS Candidates : Rs. 250/-.

3. For Ex-Servicemen & Dependent : Rs. 200/-.

4. Physical Handicapped : Rs. 500/-.


How to Apply Clerk Post : Candidates can apply Online through website link given the notification. After Filling all the required details in the online registration form, Upload scanned documents like photograph and Signature and Click on Submit button. Take Print out of Application form and keep it safe for future use.
