Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of the candidates to the post of Constable & Fireman. UKSSSC has 785 vacancies for  Constable (Male) post, 291 Vacancies for Constable (PAC/IRB) (Male) post and 445 vacancies for Fireman(male/female) post. Examination Fee : Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- as examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special Entry is not required to pay any fee.



Pay Scale :

1. For Flying Officer : Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500/-.

Note : Flight Cadets shall receive a fixed Stipend of Rs. 56,100 per month during one year of training.

1. Chef : Aspirants are required to prepare food (both veg and non-veg).

2. Steward : Candidates need to serve food in the officers messess as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc.

3. Hygienist :Their  duty is to clean washroom, shower spaces and other areas.



Eligibility Conditions : 

Educational Qualification : Willing candidates should have passed Matriculation Examination from the Board of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt of India.



Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 16 years and should not be more than 19 years.  Candidates should be born between 01st April 2002 to 31st March 2005 (Both Dates Inclusive)



Pay & Allowances : During Initial training period 

1. Stipend : Rs. 14,600 per month

After Successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in level 3 of the defence pay matrix and they will get Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 with MSP Rs. 5200/-.



Selection Process : Because of COVID-19 Pandemic, as exception is being mad in public interest, wherein approximately 1500 Candidates will be called for written Examination and Physical Fitness Test (PFT). On the basis of marks obtained in Class 10th, Candidates will be shortlisted for written examination and PFT. The cut off marks may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state wise manner.


Physical Fitness Test : 

1. It is mandatory to qualify in PFT for selection.

2. It will consist of 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 sqauts (uthak baithak) and 10 push-ups.



Medical Standards : 

1. Medical Examination Conducted by Authorised Military Doctors.

2. Min. Height 157 cms & min. chest expansion of 5 cms.

3. Must be in good physical and mental health.

2. For worse Eye : 6/9

J&K Services Selection Board has published a notification for the recruitment of candidates for Sub Inspector Post. The eligible aspirants are invited for participation in the selection process for UT Cadre post of the Sub Inspector. Candidates who want to apply for SI Post would be able to fill online application form from 10th November,2021. More details like eligibility, educational Qualification , Selection process, Physical Standards etc are mentioned below.


J&K SSB Sub Inspector complete vacancy details :

Eligibility Conditions : 

Age Limit : The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and should not crossed the age of 28 years i.e Candidates should not born before 01.01.1993 and should not born after 01.01.2003.


Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed Graduation/Post Graduation Degree/ Ph.D Degree .


Application Fee : 

1. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 550 Online through net Banking, Credit or Debit Cards.

2. Pushups: 20 ( one cycle of up and down to be counted as one)

B. For Female candidates

1. Long Race: 1000 meters in 61/2 minutes (Six minutes and 30 seconds)

2. Shot put(4Kgs) : 141/2 feet in three attempts.


Pay Scale : Rs. 35,700 to Rs. 1,13,100
